"So, you're into music?", she asked, "Do you like Idlewild?"
The eyeliner just blinked balefully back, "I'm sure I must have heard of them. Are they, like, Emo'?"
"Oh dear," she sighed, "I'm going to have to confiscate your iPod."
CLICK. Rubbish. CLICK. CLICK. Rubbish. CLICK. Hmm, interesting. CLICK. Rubbish.
Made to feel old, she thought to herself. The kids of today; is anyone teaching them anything!?

... Music! Beer! Dancing!
A successful concert, despite the interuption. Support from hotly-tipped (aren't they all?!) indie rock outfit Concrete Can't Climb Lampposts was the wasps'. The second support group played some songs on stage while we waited for the real band to come on / sober up.
And come on they did! I was particularly moved, geologically speaking, by Idlewild's storming rendition of their hit song No Emotion. Woah-oh-woah indeed!
Of course, many of you would probably like to read more about this amazing Scottish indie night out from someone who paid attention and even remembered the real names of the support bands. Go on then.
